Engaging Parents with CVB
October 16, 2024

Recent survey data from EAB shows a huge increase in the influence parents carry with prospective student enrollment choices.

Among first year students surveyed in 2022, 48% reported parental influence among their top 5 sources of enrollment information – that’s up from 34% in 2019. In fact, the only sources of information accessed more than parents and family were self-serve digital resources like school websites.

CustomViewbook has always provided the access to the personalized, on-demand information that Gen Z and Gen Alpha require, and now we’re expanding our reach to the team of influencers in a prospects life through enhanced sharing and lead data collection.

Parents are an undeniably significant part of many prospect’s decision making, while not necessarily possessing current knowledge of trends within higher education. The landscape is drastically altered from when previous generations navigated the college admissions landscape, so every opportunity to engage with these parents in the recruitment pipeline is crucial.
